The Hall hosts a wide range of community led events and activities. Below is a list of regular activities and how you can get involved.
Machen Village Hall Playgroup, also known as Auntie Heather’s is a popular and well used childcare provider providing term time childcare for 20 months – 4yrs and holiday childcare for 20 months – 12 yrs. This friendly service also provides wraparound care with Machen Primary School.
From 8am – 3pm, Monday – Friday (term time) and we open until 5.30pm on holidays if demand is there.

Join our new Kung Fun class with Jason who holds a Black Sash, 3rd Degree and who has over 20 years instructor experience.
Ages 5+ to adult, families welcome.
The classes help instil discipline and self confidence plus improves fitness whilst learning a martial art.
